This finest British designed leather case by Handetta uses full grain calf leather. Handetta only uses hand picked full grain calf skin and not older animal skins as used by other manufacturers in the hand-held leather case industry. Once leather is carefully hand picked, the process of manufacturing our cases starts. Each stage of manufacturing process goes through strictest quality control by skilled Handetta craftsmen who maintain highest standards. Once moulds for a specific hand-held device is made, cut outs are laser cut for precision and accuracy. All part of the case are then hand sewn using the finest waxed strings. Finally, raw edges are finished using a technique known as ‘lacquered edging’. This process is applied by hand which gives the edges of the case a rounded/smooth feel and above all it protects the leather from splitting over time.A beautifully designed and carefully crafted leather piece speaks for itself.
