Our aim is for services to be completed within a fast 7 - 10 working day time frame excluding weekends or bank holidays once your device is received by us. Fault finding and diagnostic services may involve a larger time frame. If you are in the UK your device will be sent back out via Royal Mail Special Delivery, and will be with you the following working day. If in Europe or America your device will be shipped via Royal Mail International service, FedEx or DHL and will take depending on the shipping method and location between three and seven working days. You will receive an email notification of the return shipment of your device.

Shipping the device is your responsibility. You should use an insured carrier, in the UK we highly recommend the Royal Mail Special Delivery service. This will cost very little and the package will be insured for a minimum of £250.00 if lost or damaged. If in Europe or America shipping via FedEx or DHL will guarantee the package arrives with us. Please ensure you use a cardboard box and wrap your device securely in bubble wrap. This will ensure the PDA/Sat Nav device arrives in the same condition you sent it in.

The touch screen also known as the digitizer only reads input from the stylus when you use it on the screen, If you can still see the image under the broken glass you probably only need the touch screen. If you can also see blue or black ink spots or no image is displayed at all or under the broken glass you will definitely need a complete replacement screen.

The usual symptoms of this hardware fault are that when tapping the targets to align the screen it just loops back to the start of the 'Align Screen' routine. Your touch screen has failed and you will need a new one.

This is a hardware fault and usually requires the replacement of the complete glass touch screen. Under normal circumstances the touch screen wears out through natural use, and the ability for the screen to accurately read the input from the stylus fails and causes either spiking on handwriting or complete dead spots where you are unable to write on the screen.

Should you choose not to have the unit repaired are those incurred for the return shipping of the unit. Cost of sending un-repaired unit within UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery is normally £6.99 per unit. Rest of the World £10.99 per unit.

In the majority of cases all the dust can be removed from the LCD screen unit, the gaps are then sealed with a polyamide film using a silicone adhesive, excluding the vents that allow the heat to escape from the side light. Some PDAs have dust that just will not be moved using compressed air and a small number of these white specs will remain, trapped under the display. Attempting to use any other method than compressed air will cause damage to the display unit. The PDA screen overall will still be much cleaner and less contaminated than before.

If you have not given the speaker an unexpected drink this repair is straight forward. What normally causes the speaker to stop working is a switch inside the headphone jack that turns the speaker off when headphones are inserted becomes damaged or faulty causing the device's speaker to stop working.
